Dennis knows firsthand the devastation substance abuse and addiction causes the individual, family and friends and is looking forward to helping people overcome substance abuse and addiction in the Lowell community. Living in one of our sober houses aids the sometimes difficult transition of reentering the community as a newly sober person. Maverick House is a sober community dedicated to providing affordable sober living. Located in the Belvidere neighborhood of Lowell Ma, just 30 minutes outside of Boston . Over and eighteen year career in the field, MaryBeth has worked in clinical settings supporting and guiding individuals who present with various inner challenges. Her passion and mission is to promote independence while addressing and processing underlying sensitive issues such as trauma, life changes, and stressors.

She is a Commercial Lending Officer, SVP at Enterprise Bank where she has worked to serve the business community for over 20 years. Outside of her banking career, Sandra has served as a director on the Boards of several non-profit organizations including the YMCA of Lowell, Mill City Grows and the Lowell Portuguese Language School which she co-founded in 2015. The Rogers Sober House in Lowell, Massachusetts offers a truly recovery-focused environment for women in recovery looking to take the next step in their journey to a new life. Led by the dedicated staff at Vanderburgh Sober Living, this home provides a focused and structured setting for guests. Our staff are trained and dedicated to serving the recovery community and we look forward to greeting new guests and inviting them into a supportive and nurturing environment.

In 2002, she began working at a homeless family shelter, and it was there she realized she wanted to pursue a career in mental health. In 2010, Kim graduated from Cambridge College with a Master of Ed all while raising her three amazing sons. She received her LMHC in 2012 and in 2015 became the Clinical Director at The Megan House working with young women who suffer from substance use disorder.

Recovery Community

Most importantly, she loves to spend quality time with her Husband, family and friends. Zack’s Team believes that recovery is possible and has been able to offer treatment and sober living scholarships to hundreds of young adults in the Merrimack Valley, who would otherwise have no access to treatment options. Catherine brings her passion for helping members and cultivating relationships to the Financial Wellness team with the goal of providing educational resources to members from preschool through adulthood. A Lowell Native and current Dracut resident, Catherine Casey is the Assistant Vice President of Financial Wellness at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. She has been with Jeanne D’Arc since 2010 when she began her career as a teller at the Lowell branch.

Sobriety and addiction recovery resources in the Lowell Area

Carleen was born and raised in Lowell and now lives in Dracut with her husband. The mission at Megan’s House is to improve the quality of life of its residents through an evidence-based substance abuse treatment program that emphasizes individual dignity, self-respect, and empowerment. Grace Space Maverick House offers free internet, television, laundry services, and a quiet environment that feels just like home. The community is currently growing, led by supportive peers and house management. The recovery residence is tailor-made as a stepping stone in the recovery process with the goal of driving individuals to live fully sober, independent lives. Pamela is involved in several community organizations, boards and committees.

Both homes are near an established public transportation route allowing access to work, education and recreational opportunities, which are vital components to a successful recovery. Pamela Huntley was named Executive Director of The Megan House Foundation on July 1, 2019, after serving in the role on an interim basis since January of the same year. She first became involved with the organization by attending their annual Gala, a fundraising event which raises funds to help with the program and services provided to the residents of Megan’s House and Erin’s house. She served on the board of Directors for over two years until accepting her current role. She attended Lowell Public Schools and graduated from UMASS Lowell with a degree in Business Management with the Class of 2004.

In 2015, he helped identify a federal grant opportunity that helped Lowell land nearly $2-million, money that was used to hire 12 new fire fighters and avoid fire station shutdowns that had plagued the city. In his nine years at AMD Dan managed AMD’s worldwide sales efforts which included a direct sales force and a global network of over 40 resale partners. Since joining AMD the company’s footprint expanded into 98 countries including several nationwide deployments. Under Dan’s guidance AMD saw increased penetration into the traditional clinical telemedicine markets as well as significant entry points into the emerging retail pharmacy,concierge, medical tourism, EMS, and skilled nursing markets. Locally, Steven serves on the Board of Governors of Lowell General Hospital/Circle Health where he was chairperson of the LGH TeamWalk for Cancer Care for several years.
